Open source MCP-native AI video studio

Generative video,
under your direction.

Raccord is a desktop orchestrator for AI video. Compose dozens of models into workflows, keep your hand on every frame, and drive it from your desktop, your agents, or the built-in assistant.

The studio

One window. The whole studio.

Compose shots on the canvas, watch renders land on the timeline, brief the assistant without leaving your work. Everything a film needs, in one place — on your machine.

The editor — canvas, assistant, node & timeline
01

The canvas.

Your shots live as nodes you compose and wire into workflows — every step inspectable, every step re-runnable.

02

The timeline.

Renders land here the moment they finish. Scrub them, reorder them, preview the cut — the film takes shape as you work.

03

The assistant.

Native to the studio, briefed on your project, built on the same MCP tools your agents use. Not a chatbot bolted on.

Inside the app

Anyone can generate. You're here to create.

Raccord clears everything between the idea and the screen, so your time goes where taste lives. Scroll — the app follows.

Describe it — the assistant builds it.

The assistant edits the workflow directly: adding nodes, wiring shots and filling the canvas, then launching the runs — all on the same MCP tools your external agents use.

Every tool lives on the canvas.

One palette adds whatever the shot needs: generation nodes for image, video and music, design nodes for the rest. The whole film builds on a single surface — no app-switching between idea and render.

Set the look once — shots follow it.

Give the film a style and every generation leans into it: the same mood and grade steer each render, so ten shots come back as one movie — not ten different ones.

Refine the prompt on any result.

Open the node in the sidebar and let Claude retouch the prompt against the image it actually produced — then re-run just that shot, without rebuilding the rest.

Same shot, another model — one click.

Every generation node carries a swap button: flip a shot from Seedance to Kling or Grok Imagine without rewiring anything. Prompt, references and connections come along — comparing models is a click, not a rebuild.

Errors, fixed in place.

When a generation fails, the error surfaces right on the node. Fix it inline, or hand it to the assistant to diagnose and correct — no dead ends, no starting over.

Every take, at a glance.

History gathers all your generations in one view — every take, every model, side by side. Compare results across the whole film instead of clicking node by node.

Agents · MCP

Bring your own agent.

Everything Raccord does is exposed over MCP — so Claude Code, the built-in assistant or any MCP client drives the studio with the same tools, and lands the same result.

Models

Every model, behind one key.

Under the hood, Raccord talks to the KIE.ai API: paste one key and the whole catalog opens — no separate accounts, no per-model billing, no re-plumbing when something better ships. And with rates at least 30% below the models' own pricing on nearly every one, trying a look across three models is the default, not a splurge.
